2. RAEX 400 STEELS
RAEX is a hot rolled hardened steel grade with excellent hardness and strength properties and is resistant to abrasion and extreme surface pressure. RAEX 400 extends the life***n of machinery, decreases the i***cts of wear in structural components and saves costs. Thanks to its high strength properties, RAEX allows innovative and environmentally sound product development. RAEX is easy to weld, cut and has reasonably good formability.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS: Buckets and cutting edges of earth-moving machines, wearing parts of mining machines, wearing parts of concrete mixing plants and wood processing machines, platform structures, feeders and funnels.
3. FORA 400 STEELS
A water-quenched martensitic steel, with a typical hardness of 400HB. Thanks to its toughness, its elevated hardness, its high yield strength, FORA can be used wherever resistance to wear by sliding or by moderate i***cts is required. Allows thickness reduction in designs since its wear resistance is up to 3 times longer than S355 grade. Easily welded with good forming properties.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS: Quarries, mines, construction and earthmoving: skimmers, crushers, screens, bunkers, bulldozers etc. Cement plants: buckets, crushers and bunkers. Mines: excavator, winding and discharging machines, conveyors, etc. Iron and steel industries: Bunkers, various casing, guide and shifting plates, etc.
4. Adopting standard:
All steel is supplied with full mill test certificates to DIN EN 10204-3.1.
